Mor Mor's Scandinavian Sandbakkels Recipe
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 1 Egg White
- 1/3 Cup Blanched Almonds
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 3/4 Cups Flour
- 3/4 Cup Butter
Baking Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grind the almonds in a food processor until very fine.
- Cream the butter and sugar in a medium bowl.
- Mix in the egg white and ground almonds, then stir in the flour.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and press them into the tins.
- Bake on a baking sheet for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Cool completely in the tins before tapping them lightly to loosen and remove.
