Mor Mor's Scandinavian Sandbakkels Recipe

• 3/4 Cup Sugar
• 1 Egg White
• 1/3 Cup Blanched Almonds
• 1 Cup Milk
• 1 3/4 Cups Flour
• 3/4 Cup Butter

Baking Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grind the almonds in a food processor until very fine.
2. Cream the butter and sugar in a medium bowl.
3. Mix in the egg white and ground almonds, then stir in the flour.
4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and press them into the tins.
5. Bake on a baking sheet for 12 to 15 minutes.
6. Cool completely in the tins before tapping them lightly to loosen and remove.
