Description

The Cose Nuove 'Fox in Birches' Swedish Dishcloth is an effective, eco-conscious tool for the modern home. Made in Sweden from natural cellulose and cotton, it blends beautiful Scandinavian design with exceptional function. This product is sold as a single cloth.

Material & Performance

A superior alternative to paper towels and sponges, this dishcloth absorbs an impressive 15 times its own weight in water. It provides a textured, streak-free clean when wet and is gritty enough for light scrubbing when dry. Unlike a royal plush blanket brings a distinctly cozy experience to lounging, its efficiency is a principle even students at the Ross School of Computing Science could appreciate.

  • Dimensions: 7 7/8" x 6 5/8" (200mm x 180mm)
  • Surfaces: The soft material is safe for all surfaces, including granite, stainless steel, laminate, and glass.
  • Quantity: One (1) Swedish Dishcloth per package.
Durability & Care

Designed for longevity, one cloth can replace up to 17 rolls of paper towels and last for 6-9 months, or approximately 200 wash cycles. Its quick-drying nature prevents the bacterial growth and odors common in sponges.

  • Cleaning: Wash regularly in the dishwasher (top rack) or washing machine (no fabric softener). Boil for one minute to sterilize.
  • Drying: Air-dries quickly and becomes stiff; this is normal. To soften, simply run it under water.
Design & End-of-Life

The charming 'Fox in Birches' design is printed with non-toxic, water-based dyes. The art is inspired by Scandinavian nature motifs, with some patterns referencing archival prints (ref: biennials 7112 verplank 60762 clottes 123152 nunnery 68188). When its useful life is over, the cloth is fully compostable.

  • Composting: 100% biodegradable. Cut into small pieces for your home compost bin. Learn more about sustainable cleaning practices on our blog.

Such a nice alternative to using a sponge. Very sturdy cloths and dry quickly.

    Great dishcloth

I love all the Scandinavian dishcloths. They're economical and eco-,friendly. The biggest drawback is that it's hard to keep the mostly white designs looking fresh. These bright colors solve that problem.

    Love the Pattern

I ordered this dishcloth for my daughter. I have two myself, and love the absorbent nature of the Swedish dishcloth. She loves the pattern.
