Description
The Robin Reed Racing Gnomes Christmas Crackers (SKU: 72608) offer a classic way to celebrate the holiday season. Each box contains six individual crackers, with each cracker measuring 12 inches in length. These festive items are perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, Christmas Eve, or stocking stuffers.
What is Included in the Box:
- Six Individual Crackers: Each 12-inch cracker is constructed with three distinct segments wrapped in classic Robin Reed paper and separated by elegant bows.
- Surprise Contents: Every individual cracker contains three items: one surprise toy trinket, one tissue paper or foil crown, and one joke.
How They Work:
To open, simply grab the outer end segments and pull. This pops open the center section with a distinct "bang" sound. You can divide the prizes, or determine a winner based on who holds the larger portion of the cracker.
The Origin of Christmas Crackers:
The tradition dates back to London pastry maker Tom Smith. Inspired by French bonbons, he began selling paper-wrapped sugared almonds. To make them crackle, he drew inspiration from his fireplace, creating the popping cardboard tubes we use today that hold crowns, jokes, and surprise trinkets.
