The History of the Christmas Cracker
This timeless holiday tradition was invented by London pastry maker Tom Smith, inspired by French bonbons and the crackle of his fireplace. Over time, they evolved into the trinket-filled, popping cardboard tubes enjoyed today. They make an excellent addition to Thanksgiving or Christmas tables, holiday place settings, tree ornaments, or stocking stuffers.
