Slight Disappointment

I was super excited to get this dala horse charm for my Scandinavian mom for Christmas. It is a beautiful charm, however I wish the details were a little more specific on the description. I wanted something that was sterling silver, and it is not. I'm very worried about this charm tarnishing and the upkeep it will take to keep it looking nice. We we see what happens.
