The designer Unn Søiland made history in the 50’s, designing new handknit patterns, and using wool with bright colors. That was very unusual at the time. This became popular - and ”Norwegian sweaters” became great international fashion. The Marius design later became a Norwegian icon, by being the most handknitted pattern i Norway over the last 65 years.
The collection is available in ten different color combinations, two sizes of respective towels and table runners.
A runner can serve many purposes. It is magnificent in its simplicity for daily use, arranged cross-wise on your breakfast, lunch or dinner table, or why not as a highlight on your chest of drawers or coffee table. It can also be the finishing touch on a festive dinner table, placed on top of one of our large tablecloths, for a very special effect.
