Design and Material
This runner showcases an authentic, woven-in Jacquard design, not a print. The intricate pattern features the Bullfinch's signature vibrant red and deep black against grey branches, set on a natural, unbleached off-white background. Made from a substantial, medium-to-heavyweight 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, it has a quality feel and elegant drape. The reverse side displays the inverse of the pattern, highlighting the weaving craftsmanship.
Sizing and Placement
- Dimensions: 14" wide by 47" long (35 x 120 cm).
- Table Fit: Ideal for tables 60-72 inches long, allowing a 6-inch overhang on each end.
- Versatile Use: Arrange it cross-wise on a dining table or use it to adorn a coffee table, buffet, or chest of drawers.
Care and Durability
Crafted for longevity, the yarn-dyed cotton is highly colorfast. Follow these instructions to maintain its beauty:
- Washing: Machine wash on a warm, gentle cycle (up to 140°F or 60°C). Do not use bleach.
- Drying: Hang to dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting. Remove promptly to minimize wrinkles.
- Ironing: Iron on a high setting (cotton) while the fabric is slightly damp.
- Shrinkage: As a 100% cotton product, expect slight shrinkage of approximately 5-7% after the first wash.
